It is not ok to pill-shame others. Not everyone has your concept of reality. Some of us live with life-threatening mental illnesses. And we are doing what we can to just survive. If that means buying chemicals to help balance our brains, then that’s what it takes.
I exercised for an hour a day the first time I waxed delusional. Had the six pack and everything. Did exercise help? Not at that time, not in the slightest. I still needed help. I didn’t get any for years. Once I accepted that some form of medication could help me, I was able to live a somewhat normal life.
Do I need to eat a carrot and go for a jog? Yes, desperately. Will these things cure my mental illness? In your dreams.
